Meena apa was a great actress. She’d cry naturally while doing a scene. We did Sharda together. She loved food and once asked me to get biryani. We spread a mat on the studio floor and ate together. We even ordered fish. She loved zarda paan. She was slightly plump and loved wearing white. She never let anyone know whether she was upset about anything. She never kept any asset in her name. I was part of her last film Gomti Ke Kinare. I remember her standing to give a shot. Suddenly, she felt giddy. The nurse came running and gave her something to drink. That was the last time I saw her.
