Trilok Kapoor – a forgotten singer who was mostly active during the 1950s. He is mostly confused with the actor of the same name who acted opposite Noor Jehan in Mirza Sahiban (`947) and Nargis in Pyar Ki Baatien (1951). One of the famous songs of Trilok Kapoor was a duet with Lata Mangeshkar from Raag Rang (1952) – Karte hain ishare.

the singer and actor TRILOK KAPOOR is one and the same.He was the brother of PRITHVIRAJ KAPOOR.He was just as handsome and talented as other kapoors.
As far as I know, Trilok Kapoor the actor (who mostly used to appear in Mythological movies) and Trilok Kapoor the singer are different people. If they were the same then Trilok Kapoor (the actor) would be singing for himself in films, instead of getting playback from other singers including G.M. Durrani in Mirza Sahiban

I too think that singer and actor Trilok Kapoor were different entities.
If you see the film lists,you will find that the films in which TK has acted there are no songs of TK,and where TK has sung,there is no TK in those films.
If it was one person,he would have sung his own songs,as was the system prevailing that time.

both are same. i have some earliest photos of trilok kapoor in late 30s and early 40s and he acted in many of 50s too. he was the brother of prithviraj kapoor. he entered bollywood in mid 30s. one of his famous in late 30s was baazighar relesed in 1939
Both the singer and actor are same. He had a good singing voice but mostly was given playback by other singers as he was not marketed as a singer-actor. He has done some playback singing in later years for various composers. Did some singing for himself in 30s as well.
