Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar singing for Anil Biswas in Fareb (1953) – Aa mohabbat ki basti basayien gey hum

Today is 82nd Birth Anniversary of Kishore Kumar. Therefore, I am posting one of my favorite duets of Kishore with Lata. After listening to songs like these I really wish Kishore had sung more songs in the 1950s. Unfortunately his output in that decade is rather limited.

Trivia - Pakistani composer Sohail Rana was inspired by the above tune from Fareb when he composed the classic Habib Wali Mohammad song Aashiyan jan gaya, Gulistan lut gaya for film Baazi (1970).
