Jiya gayey tara ra ra rum – Aik Dil Do Diwane (1964)

Pakistani Film Aik Dil Do Diwane (1964) was the copy of Indian film Professor (1962) with Kamal, Rani, Nasira, and Roshan playing the parts played by Shammi Kapoor, Kalpana, Praveen Chaudhary and Salim Khan in the original. The film flopped at the box-office, however this song became extremely popular. Pakistani readers must have heard the various versions of this song sung by Benjamin Sisters and Mussarat Nazir. Benjamin sisters gained popularity in the 1980s by singing this song on the Silver Jubilee show hosted by Anwar Maqsood.
