Chhup chhup kai nazrein milatey raho – Jan Pehchan (1967)
Jan Pehchan (1967) was first Iran-Pakistan co-production. Mohammad Ali from Pakistan and Shahpara and Tarana from Iran acted in this film. The film was directed by Fareed Ahmed on locations that were never seen before in Pakistani movies. The Khewra salt mines in the rugged and rarely-frequented areas of Kalabagh offered a unique sight and added to the overall high standard of craftsmanship.
According to the singer Nahid Niazi, Shahpara insisted that she can sing before the recording of this song. However, her efforts were inadequate. Therefore, Nahid Niazi had to step in and sing for her by copying her Iranian accent.
Singers – Ahmed Rushdi and Nahid Niazi
