Miscellaneous Info –
M Rajan started his career in 1951 when he appeared in Anant Thakur’s Kale Badal (1951). His elder brother Roshan Lal Malhotra introduced him as a hero opposite Asha Mathur in a murder mystery Dhuaan released in 1953. Although the identity of the murderer was well concealed in this film, the film flopped due to various reasons including the stilted and wooden portrayals by M. Rajan and Asha Mathur.
Later he switched to side roles and acted in few more films including Zanjeer (1973) where he enacted the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s father. Information provided by M.N. Sardana
