special photo
thank you
is there any information about what happened to this family – its present wherabouts , etc etc
Yes this is what I am looking for, I have read somewhere that her sister Chanchal is settled in Delhi, and her younger sister recently appeared at Madhubala’s stamp ceremony, what about other sisters,
i have the information now
Please provide updates about Madhubala surviving sisters and if possible some info about her grave, I have heard that her grave has been levelled to ground
I think Madhubala is the cutest of the three, she looks so happy, it is such a pity that she lived for just36 years.
A rare picture indeed. I have seen it for the first time. Undoubtedly, Madhubala was unique in beauty. On the right is her sister Chanchal (real name not known). The one on the left is also unknown. She had two brothers and eight sisters. Both brothers and three sisters died leaving six sisters. Her sister Madhur Brij Bhushan lives in Bombay and runs a recording studio. Nothing is known about the rest or whether how many of them are still alive.
In February 2010 Madhubala’s tomb was demolished and her remains relocated to an unknown place. Graves of M. Rafi, Naushad, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Ali Sardar Jafri and Parveen Babi were also dug up and remains relocated. This was done to make space for new burials.
