Miscellaneous Info - Suresh started his career as a child artiste with Bombay Talkies films including Anjan (1941), Naya Sansar (1941) and Basant (1942). Later, he became a popular leading man and was cast opposite many famous leading ladies of his time including Madhubala, Suraiya, Vyjayanthimala, and Geeta Bali. He was a favorite of producer/director A.R. Kardar, who cast him as the leading man in many films including Dulari (1949), Jadoo (1951), Deewana (1952) and Yasmin (1955). His career started to go downhill after mid-50s when he was mostly seen in B/C grade films including Wazir-e-Azam (1961), Sher-e-Afghan (1966) etc He committed big blunder in the 1970s when he decided to become a producer. He produced Ganga Aur Suraj under the banner of N.A. Suresh. The movie had Anwar Hussain as the main villain. After considerable shooting, Anwar Hussain suffered a paralysis stroke and was replaced by Kader Khan. The budget of the film went out of control and the film was eventually released in 1980 and bombed at the box-office. Suresh died almost penniless under miserable conditions (Information provided by Mool Narain Sardana and Upendra Sachith).
