Nawab signed her up for an important role in his “Saaz” and launched her as a “sensational new find”. However, the film remained incomplete. Working under the screen name of Arti, Bimla Kumari got her first big break in “Aasmaan”, after which she acted in “Husn ka Chor.” Fond of swimming, she listed badminton and ballroom dancing among her favorite recreations. Her real name was Kitty Kelly.
